Some good news for the Arena League

It's created surprising ratings. NBC said after Week 3 the TV deal was profitable, and ratings are beating the NHL and other traditional sports, according to Nielsen numbers. The Firebirds-Chicago game in Week 3 at Conseco, for example, netted a 3.7 rating while the opening race for CART had a 0.2.

I believe this 3.7 is a local number and not a national number BTW.

Opening CART race was carried on Speedvision only, not a network.
