It leaves Wilmington at 7:43 and there will be a number of us on the last car. The train following that is 8:30-ish.
I finally got around to checking the R5 schedule and while I would love to join you in the last car, I will be waving at you as your train speeds by the Villanova stop. I'll have to catch the next train and get down to Market East about 10 minutes after you will. I'll see you at McGillins.
I'll... be on the 34. If I get up early enough, I may hop on that R2 at 30th and at least go the last stop with you guys.
Anyone going to hang around and go to Fado after the draft to meet the picks? I will if others do. I need to kill time until 7 when the convention opens.
LAUDERHILL, Fla. -- As the players filed into Central Broward Regional Park to start the MLS Player Combine on Saturday afternoon, one prolific forward was particularly conspicuous by his absence. Oregon State and Generation adidas forward Danny Mwanga withdrew from the Combine and did not travel to South Florida, according to MLS officials on the scene. The purported reason, according to reports: Philadelphia is expected to pick Mwanga first overall in Thursday's MLS SuperDraft.
Another excellent article about Mwanga. Apparently Nowak flew to Portland to talk with him and in doing so changed his mind about MLS. Here is the link: http://www.oregonlive.com/sports/index.ssf/2010/01/osus_danny_mwanga_no_1_pick_in.html
Hey guys, long time reader and first time poster. Count me in and a buddy of mine for the draft on Thursday. Will be able to raise a pint for the coming together of the club and his birthday. Can't wait, see you all there.
