So if I'm planning on attending my first Union event and am going to be traveling alone which would be a better place to head to before the draft, the fieldhouse or mcgillins?

So, is the Team's e-mail correct, that we need to buy a $15 pass to get into the superdraft?

No, that's only if you want to go to the convention on Saturday. I'll be there, I have to meet with some vendors for my youth league. The floor is really cool to walk, there's always a ton of info to pick up.

I think the SoB pre-draft festivites will start at McGillin's, and everyone will go from there directly to the Grand Ballroom. I don't think the SoB party and official team one will occur at the same location simultaneously.

Depending on my wife's work schedule, I may be coming in from my sister-in-law's house in Somerdale so I might take the Patco from Ashland.

What time were you thinking of going?

I'm still trying to clear my schedule for that day. If I can pull it off, I can go in anytime. It would be my first SoB event, so I wouldn't mind getting there early enough to meet some of the gang and "warm up" -- maybe even shoot for 9:00.

"Warming up" is the best idea if this is your first event. Get there early so you can meet some people and make some friends, before everyone gets a little saucy and starts singing.

New song to debut for the draft:

Up your ass, Up your ass
Stick a Red Bull up your ass
The Blue and Gold you'll never pass
Stick a Red Bull up your ass

Based on this, with the same tune:

    [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dJ-7DBgw5iQ"]YouTube- Fulham Fans at Arsenal[/ame]

It would sound AMAZING with a large amount of people singing it.

    Hi everyone. First post here.

So... yeah, I wasn't going to go, but after seeing that it is, indeed, going to be free, I took the day off and will be there. And that's when I went looking for soccer forums and found this one and here I am. Yay!

Firstly, is anyone going from West Philly? I'd hate to be the only Union fan on the 34 that morning, and...

Is anyone actually going to the Fieldhouse? I'm not a SoB... (yet...) I wouldn't want to intrude.

Anyone else taking the R5 (Thorndale) in? I'll probably be catching train #9538 from Coatesville, gets to Market East around 8:48.

I plan on going to McGillin's at 9:00 AM, and staying for a good amount, but I do want to go to the Fieldhouse at some point to check that scene out too.
