    Hi.

Just wondering how many of you out there are a booster of your college team?

This year I will be a "Friends of Bronco (Boise State University) Soccer" (aka FSB). It's the booster club for my alma mater's soccer team. It was started in 2000 in hopes of generating awareness and $ support for the program. Members of FSB receive a quarterly newsletter and other info on the team and stuff like that. The "suggested" donation is $500 but I told our assistant coach that my committment will be in the $200 range this year. The donations are used at the discretion of the team for stuff such as recruiting, team travel, equipment, etc. They better give me a damn hat or sweatshirt or something like that.

Anyone else give $ to their team (if a booster program is in place). If you folks do have a booster program how is it structured? Is it very active? What are the different $ levels for donation?

    Thanks.

  2. I'm a member of the Kicker Club for the Ole Miss Lady Rebels. I think we have three levels.....$50.00, $100.00 and as much as you want to give. We get e-mail recaps of the games from one of the assistant coaches as well as occasional greetings from players. We also get the current year's media guide and an "Kicker Club" t-shirt ($50 donation) or sweatshirt ($100). Last year we got a Christmas card with a team picture. Oh, and you get your name printed in the media guide, too. There may be other "freebies", but I can't recall.

I think most of the members are parents, so, yes, they are very active.
