you can look that up in the inter section. They tied 1-1. In the 90th minute, DP got an unreal penalty to tie it up. We have had only one penalty in the last 28 games. In the 95th minute, we tied it up because we are so good, scored with our goalie on a corner. In this season, (5 games) we have had aother penalty also awarde againstus n the 90th minute.
Put down the crack pipe and step away. Juve's penalty was justly awarded, and surprisingly everyone is in agreement. Inter's goal was a farce and surprisingly everyone is in aggrement on that one too. Buffon had an Inter player on top of him when Toldo kneed the goal in. Buffon could not move, it was a clear foul.
I saw the play and can say I thought it was a fair penalty. I keep seeing the words "controversial penalty" being thrown at that play. I guess in Italy a "controversial penalty" is any PK given at the end of the game even if it is justified. But in this case I think it was a good call.
I think that the penalty given to Juventus was clear while the Inter's goal was much less...Juventus' goalkeeper Buffon was disturbed while he was trying to get the ball. Inter players should thank those 5 extra minutes after the end of 90 minutes... Bye!
so far, it's 10-1. Guess nobody agrees with soccerfan! BTW, the game I watched, Juventus pretty much kicked Inter's butt. The ball bounces off your goalie's knee into the goal - I'd say luck was WITH you, my friend.
Has anyone seen the first goal of Inter with Bologna? It was a clear offside...but the ref hasn't seen anything...The trainer of Bologna, interviewed on a national Italian channel, was really veeeeeery angry...
It was the second goal, actually, which clinched the result in injury time - an incredibly bad call, with Crespo even looking around waiting for the flag before charging ahead to assist on Vieri's goal. Unusual for Guidolin to be so critical - he (and the Bologna club in general) is usually not the type to whine about refs.
Plus Bologna were not given a clear penalty when Zaccardo was brought down by Conceicao in the box. I think Guidolin is whining because of what Inter did last week against Juve with their whining.
