    Soccer snobs, pure and simple. If Becks can get them on board he'll have a great success on his hands. If not, he'll still survive, but he'll do less well than he, and all the snobs, expect.

    nice try with the generalizations. its a mixture of both, for better or worse.

    soccer knowledge leads to soccer savvy, which leads to many becoming snobs. its no different than the rest of the world and other things... like wine!
