    ALWAYS TAKE THE SUBWAY
    Holy ********ing ********.
We’re walking up the stairs from the N,R at Union Square, bout 2a.m. Sat night. Couple street musicians are banging out some tune when we get up to the park.
    Holy ********ing ********.
    It’s Arcade Fire.
Covering New Order. Win and Will on guitars. Regine on guitar-case-as-percussion. Why the ******** not? It’s a nice night in New York, why not blow the dozen wanderers’ minds who’ve magically stumbled upon this scene? Cover a couple more, then wrap it up with Tunnels. Holy ********ing ********. New York is magic.

Whoa, that is really really cool. How lucky are you to have stumbled on to that?

I don't think it was Gunner Phan who stumbled upon it. It's a post from the blog Gunner Phan cited, Brooklyn Vegan.

exactly. Not me (quite unfortunately). I did see their CMJ show; Bowie came out for 2 songs ('Queen Bitch' and 'Wake Up' - encore). That was pretty special.
