Pretty bizarre....It was as if JS was truly pissed (or drunk, i cannot yet decide ;)) and Blitzer was pretty much embarrased to respond in a clear way as to why the media was unable to question the intelligence presented to go to war.... Loved the "group think or retardation?" question as to the media's main reason for slacking off.....

I saw it and it was hysterical. I was surprised, actually, that Wolf Blitzer could be as funny as he was.

I didn't get any embarassment vibe from him at all. I got the sense that he would say more but really couldn't because he'd get fired.

Maybe I'm just tired but I don't really see what this has to do with TDS.

Very funny! Thought he kind of sandbagged Wolf, which is richly deserved.

I got the impression that Wolf was in CYA mode. Although copping to "groupthink." was something I'll give him (a little) credit for.

However on last night's (Tuesdays) show, they showed a peice of Condi just blatently lying about the delayed elections trial baloon and Wolf taking it all in with a straight face. So, it's nice to see these buffoons come on TDS and get a deserved ass-whuppin' for being such tools. But it's not like it has any effect once they get back into the echo chamber.

I'd pay full fare and submit to the anal probes to get on a plane and be in the audience if they could get Hannity and Colmes on there.

Jon Stewart is really good at exploiting the tension between what a guest probably wants to say and what that guest can actually get away with saying in public.

I was also amused by the toy election bus.

I consider Wolf and his organization to be one of the pillars of the SCLM (emphasis on the SC part). He carried the administration's water, and Jon was calling him on it, and all Wolf could do was repeat the name of his godd*** show 17 times.

He wasn't embarassed, he was shamed. But he's a whore who will sell out the American people for .01 in the ratings.

The fact that Jon is more on top of the facts at hand than Wolf (and I'm not talking about just that appearance, I'm talking about any time) is a reason why I watch straight news for comedy, and TDS for news.

    Hardballs is great, too.
