For sure, my best results ever are on Partypoker - cashing in the Million twice.

Been playing tourneys a lot recently and really focusing and using Poker Tracker. Got a first and a third in the $11 180-man turbos on Stars. I like that tourney, going to try to get a lot of volume going on it. They seemingly start up every 5-10 minutes.

I've become hooked on backgammon. Brutal game but incredibly fun :)

I think part of the problem with soccer betting in the European market in particular is the value on odds offered. Part of the problem behind this is the EU's policy of restricting the access of citizens from many countries to their gambling operator of choice, instead forcing them to use the state-run bookmaker which holds a total monopoly. This is the case in Germany, Greece, Portugal, Norway, with tight restrictions also in Spain, France and Sweden.

Without the competition created buy a choice of gambling supplier, prices inevitably go up for gamblers. It's completely unfair and a totally unnecessary policy! There's a petition at www.right2bet.net trying to open the markets up. Gambling is expensive enough as it is!

Indeed. However, given the a) problem areas associated with gambling and b) huge revenues for the concerned governments, this won't change any day soon.

Well, the only way it can really be reformed is if European governments who aren't imposing these monopolies put enough pressure on the European Commission to force countries like Portugal to reform their domestic situation. It's in the interests of these governments, as they can tax the bigger companies that their citizens go through, and besides, the EU stands for free trade, so this situation is making a mockery of the organisation.

If we want to change things the best way is from the ground up. Signing that petition is a start to indicate people want change :)

Is online gambling legal in the USA yet? I know some people were pushing hard to get it legalized about 6-9 months ago, but not sure what came out of that.

I'm still placing bets by linking my BWIN account to a foreign bank account but would much rather just use my US bank account and have more choice on what bookies website to use.

It's complicated, but it never really was illegal, per se. It was just illegal for banks to transfer money that came from illegally-wagered online accounts.

    ********ing stupid.

In any event, there appears to be some movement on relaxing the legislation somewhat, at least for some types of gaming. See here for more info.

    Hi everyone,

There’s another petition set up as part of the right2bet campaign, this one a little more fun. It’s called the naked petition, and features a sexy girl who’ll dance and strip when you sign her body. And she’ll send you another photo, which, trust me, you’ll want to see. It’s all still to get better deals on gambling, but have a look ;)

Just to demonstrate how much damage these monopolies do to the wallets of the poor consumers trapped in those markets, look at this comparison on World Cup betting http://tiny.cc/XLs5A With up to 50% less profit made on winning bets, this system is clearly completely unfair!

The right2bet campaign have brought in a tool so you can lobby your MEP directly - it takes about 30 seconds. If we get enough support the EU Commission will have no choice but to shut down these monopolies!

    I've been dabbling at BetUS.com

Not as many props as I would like on soccer games, but it gets the job done.

Why is this forum so quiet, was online betting forbidden in the USA? Anyway I bet with Sports Interaction, very nice and smooth experience.
