but i think 12:00 am is officially sunday. so tonite at midnite is the 15th. so that leads me to believe we have until 3pm PST today! basically one hour from now!!!!!!
USSoccer is supposed to contact us today. This is from their email: ALL FANS WILL BE NOTIFIED ON OR BEFORE JANUARY 14. This is to enable those who do not receive tickets to participate in the third stage of the FIFA sale on January 15. The FIFA sale ends tomorrow. We need to find out today in order to order tickets from FIFA.
Same here. I've been put on the waiting list as well. So frustrating. I went through the initial application phase and got nothing. Then I spent hours upon hours trying to fax my application the very first day of and couldn't get through despite assurances that US Soccer could handle the load. If you get tickets, all I have to say is you're damned lucky!
Well if you tried to send in yours the first day, and you're still on the waiting list, there's almost no chance anyone after will get seats! There was a figure of something like 80% of all the tickets sold were in Europe. 20% for the rest of the world, and I'm guessing .000002% for US Soccer >:-(.
So if I got my order in the first day and I haven't heard you don't think I have a chance? Did you guys get yours in the first day?
I sent mine in on the 26th...I have no chance. I belive Speedy said he sent his in on the first day. If you did too, there may be a high chance you could get tickets.
Waiting list as well. This is beginning to frustrate me greatly as I got my invoice in as fast as I could fill out the info and send it. I guess it's on to the 3rd draw of Fifa.. Good luck to anyone whose still out in the cold like me!
My confirm number was 50xx and still waiting. Arrived 8:58 CST the first day. Everybody who didn't get tickets, are you going anyway? I will!
10:06 PM in NY and still have not heard anything. What a joke. Mine got to them on the secon day at 9AM from UPS. Could not get the fax through the first day to save my life. I was number nine thousand and something. The funny thing is that the person I spoke to at US Soccer early in December told me I would have no probleming getting tickets. I think they grossly underestimated the amount of applicants.
7:46 pm is Los Angeles, still waiting for an email. Did anyone receive an email yet? The suspense is killing me.... Did anyone who FedEx'd/UPS'd the application receive tickets? My app was received at 7:45 am CST
Just got confirmation. 4 tix to all 3 USA first round games. I applied for cat 1 tix for all 3 games, got cat 1 to Czech, but cat 2 to games 2 and 3. I was confirmation 102X, fax recieved 12noon on 12/12. Good luck to all...
No, I was in the 10 thousands. I set the fax go overnight and it finally went through sometime between 3-5 AM PT after the first day. I asked for 2 Cat IV tickets for each match.
Boy, that is great news that some people are actually getting AN email. I would love to be the guy who is still at work at the US soccer office in Chicago, knowing that he is playing with our sanity each time he sends the precious emails. I am still patiently waiting with my conf. # 3065

Finally got the email - my husband and i got our group round cat II tickets and he got his group round cat III as well. Man, suspenseful day!
