Now that MLS is done for year, I want to start following the Mexican League. Do they have a regular day for TV games on either Univision or Telemundo (the two Spanish language channels I get here)? Saturday? I checked today but only saw Colombian futbol.

Please help if you can. I want to learn what I can about our neighbors to the South.

    Thank you.

Actually, TeleFutura (a Univision network) aired two matches yesterday, and Azteca is doing two today.

There's a TV playoff thread he can refer to.

    To JCUnited

check out www.soccertv.com and look in the univision/telemundo pages. Right now the MFL is in the playoffs so there aren't many games being shown but in regular season you will see

2 games on saturdays galavision (most of the time)
1 game on sunday galavision (most of the time)
1 game on univision sunday (all the time for the regular season)
1 game on saturday or sunday on telemundo

I suggest you read the thread in this forum "new to mexican football" which is similar to this thread. An mls fan looking to start watching the mfl. You will get a list of descriptions of the teams/rivalries/history etc.

another show you can watch is "republica deportiva" (univision) which is more of a talk/sports highlights show. They show hightlights of the mfl as well as other leagues.

in telemundo you can watch "titulares telemundo" which shows mostly soccer hightlights of the mfl as well as euro leagues.

    Thanks all, especially Lond2345,

I will check those sites out. I'll even search out the highlight show (though any interviews will be lost on me as I am-unfortunately-only able to speak English)

Would love to see the playoffs and final.

JCUnited do you have Galavision? if you do find the show "accion" which is a sports hightlight show but mostly soccer. This is the best one of them all.

titulares telemundo is the show you should watch, No talk just hightlights.

Republica Deportiva is more of a talk and sports show, but they usually show the soccer highlights for the first segment or second so you wont have to wait long.

Let's not forget about "Contacto Deportivo" on TeleFutura every night at 11.

I only get Telemundo and Univision. Beginning to sound like more games and highlight shows are on Galavision.

    Damn you Comcast!

    Just an addition...

I believe that GolTV also has some rights to MFL games and shows them occasionally. JCUnited, it sounds like it's time to gat a dish.
