Hi all, A few days ago, I decided to take another look at the Korea-Italy match from the past World Cup, but to my horror, discovered that someone taped over all of the old matches So I was wondering if anyone had any/all of Korea's World Cup matches backed up (I've already checked Ebay - no luck)? If so, would you mind copying those matches for me? I'd of course provide compensation $$$ Thanks for any help !!
There are some internet downloading programs (one I know is Kazaam... I think?), and you might be able to find match-ups recorded in mpeg file format. Or even better DVD format, but those tend to be huge in file size. Worth a try.
Wait 3 more years because the World Cup web site will put the South Korea - Italy match in its classic games archive. But I'm sure you won't want to wait that friggin' long, so just buy the Fifa World Cup highlights DVD they're selling at like... everywhere.
when i go back to the states..in about 3 months i guess i can mail it to you..i have basically all of em in hd format on my harddrive..so i can burn em. i got the opening ceremony just in case yer interested. pm me and i'll get back to you sometime later this summer.
You'd be the man to do such a thing. Hell, I missed the opening ceremonies cuz I was busy getting drunk for my friend's birthday.
I have the HDTV DIVX file for the Korea-Italy 2nd half and overtime. I also have the 2nd half of Korea-Portugal, 2nd half of Korea-Spain, and the overtime for that one too. They are of DVD quality, but the sound is weak with the sound being like...a second slower than the screen itself. I go to Korea during the summer..so don't put me in the first option. If essvee handing you the files don't work, then I can try when I come back to the States in late August. Oh, and yes, I have the Opening Ceremony too. That is really worth watching and yet it's sad that ESPN didn't show it. In fact, even Univision showed it a day after the Opening Game.
go to pdbox.co.kr, register, search, and download they have r.madrid vs man u (2nd round, 2 files ~700 each) and juventus (1st round, 2 files ~700 each) ive downloaded a lot of world cup matches (30+GB), including other matches than korea (england vs sweden, cameroon vs ireland, belgium vs japan, etc).
you have to click on ȸ¿ø°¡ÀÔ (HaeWonGaIb) to register/join. once you register, you can search (click on °Ë»ö). search ¿ùµåÄÅ, ¸¶µå¸®µå, À¯º¥Åõ½º, etc... for video clips check out the cafe at daum.net (aka hanmail.net)
couldn't find the MAN U vs REAL I think it's gone now they don't let you upload your files forever there so I think that's the reason why.
i can upload the man u vs real 2nd round. it will take a while even on broadband. if you have some other matches, hook it up ^^;

Ok i found all the games but they don't seem to download. The file box download screen opens but nothing seems to happen. HELP ME!!
i think its because you cant/dont have korean characters displayed. try getting some software or if you have win xp go to control panel, regoinal and language settings and change some settings to korean.
