I was wondering if anyone has any good training routines that include ball control, fitness, speed, strengthening of muscles, and passing or crossing?
This isn't exactly a soccer hotbed. Not too many kids play around here. And I have practice two days during the week and games on Sundays. So I'm looking for some sort of routine to do on days when I can't find anyone the play with.
Things to do - long distance running for endurance, sprints for speed, juggling and dribbling through cones for ball contol, kick-the-wall for better shooting passing and trapping, pushups, situps, sqwats for muscle strength... if you have a friend it's a lot better to to these things plus you can do 1-on-1 games to practice your moves. If you do any of those things, your game will improve!
