So I'm getting up this morning, and the first thing that comes on my TV is always ESPNEWS. A commercial comes on that shows a hispanic household crowded around a TV. The game that is on the tube is Real Madrid vs. Barcelona. Their is one Barca fan in a room full of Madridistas. Two young men start chanting "Madrid-clap clap clap Madrid-clap clap clap" And the one Barca fan goes nuts. A penalty is awarded to Real, and it happened to be Figo that goes down in the box. Young guy-Penalty! Elderly Barca Fan-No es penal! Figo es un traidor! Se Tiro! Se Tiro. Then the old man is practically booed out of the room. Pretty cool commercial.
I saw this ad about a year ago in a movie theater. My wife turned to me and said "Figo who?" We both then laughed really loudly, causing the people around us to quietly, slowly move away.
