We are in the same boat here in the Bus. The DirecTV CSMoron said they are checking to see if a local KC station purchased the rights, at least that is what she told me. This was after she got belligerent with me. DTV, you are close to losing a customer.
If you haven't called in - call in now. They're "collecting account numbers" of folks who called in. It might give them an idea of just how many folks they piss off, and how popular MLS is.
it says programming not available in your area, check alternate programming so I did FOXE 620, same thing no game I called Direct TV the guy said unfortunetly someone chooses to black out the games in certain zip codes,
I am from LA...I got the same problem....I called the guy @ DTV and he said the game has been blacked out....Damn....I want my money back...
Then call back. If he pulls up the Shootout - like my Cust Service guy - he'll see that there are "no blackouts".
At this point, 15 minutes into the game, I wonder why - if someone from MLS is calling in - they just don't tell DirecTV to "damn the Shootout, just turn the channel on for everyone". ************
Blacked out here in Chicago. I was on the phone for 20 minutes. The CSR had no clue. I had him read me the NO BLACKOUT RULE for MLS but he still had no answer. Bull crap!!!! First the SJ -CHI game was on tape delay now this! No excuses. F-Directv!!!
Literally, the instant the CSR asked "what can I do for you" after waiting for my account info to come up. I felt like an idiot.
I just got the MLS shootout on cablevision. It started last Saturday. It worked fine tonight for KC-NE. Broadcast started on time. It is supplied by InDemand to the cable co. There are 5 channels allocated exclusively for the MLS shootout package.
direct tv shootout Speaking of direct tv - mls shoout - first week, they screwed up the time on the sunday night game. I immediately called them and they turned on the sports pack for one night so that I could watch the game. They wanted to charge me $.40 (yes, 40 cents!) for the night. I said but I have already paid for this game! They said oh, yeah. so I had a charge of $.40 and then a credit for $.40 on my next bill! you have got to be kidding me! This is the first year I have subscribed. I think they need to get their ______ together.
