I knew it was a horse/cow thing. :D :D The Avatar was taking in a town not to far away from Newcastle, and i was playing for South Tyneside Under 12's. As for the Peter Beardsly pic, it was inside Anfield, and he played for Liverpool, so i bought it especially, but we all no Pedro is a Geordie.

You can't deny his infamousness. I found him hilarious, people who take a messageboard too seriously hate him.

Not quite. I'm no Leeds lover, nor am I a big fan of Ken Bates, but I try to be fair.

Leeds' plunge into fiscal hell started with Peter Ridsdale and Terry Venebles hocking everything in sight in order to buy their way up the table to the championship. The debt they created with respect to revenues was huge. They banked on star players producing result that never happened. The shortfall of funds created a hole that the club have never been able to climb out of, and that includes a couple of years prior to Bates being in charge.

Peter Ridsdale and David O'Leary. By the time Venables arrived, he was just overseeing a fire sale.

Still they dropped under Bates' watch. That makes me happy.

I went to France on a school exchange trip to Lens when I was 17. Our French teacher had arranged a game of football for us (we presumed against the school we were visiting) only when we turned up it was against the Lens Youth Academy.

We literally did not touch the ball other than to kick off and pick it out the net! It was about 15-0 in a 10 minute game!
