De ro will definantly be gone, but if we lost ching, davies, mullan, and clark. We'd be screwed. Is anyone else worryed about that?

Hey! No talk like that after a huge win. Let's worry about it later this week and next month ;)

I think everyone is worried, just that we have business to handle. We won't be the only ones missing players, so it shouldn't be that bad. The "worst" teams will certainly have a chance to get some easy points off teams like us, DC, NE, LAG just to name a few.

Hopefully Wondo and Stuie will step up and that Ianni is worth half of DeRo's contract

That's one of the few positive aspects of hiring a DP who's no longer playing in international competition; a player who could still lead the club while the younger stars left for their countries. I'm curious if Dynamo would take that kind of approach (though I still think younger and motivated is better)

I'm not worried actually. I think that we will see the Dynamo players staggered, but I'm seeing this as a pretty good chance line up for worst case scenario:

    Dalglish Moreno

    Davis Mulrooney Holden ______

    Barrett Cochrane Robinson Gray

Wondo, Ianni, Waibel? are all possibilities to fill in either up top or in the back and push someone to midfield (Gray/Moreno)

That last spot gets filled with whoever is not in Gold Cup Ching, De Rosario, Clark, and Mullan

Sure, that team does not inspire fear in anybody, but before the Mulrooney trade I was very worried.

So this would be from May 31st-ish to June 24th

    Dallas 6/3 - Ruiz, Cooper?
Colorado 6/7 - My guess is that its either/or Clark/Mastroeni, Brown
    Columbus 6/10 - Gaven? Herron?

This break is great for the Dynamo. DeRo should be matched up with Honduras or Panama on 6/17 in the QF and that might be the end of his commitment.

    Chivas 6/21 - nobody?
Kansas City 6/24 - EJ, Conrad

I think the biggest factor will be whether its Clark or Mastroeni gone for this period. However, the Dyanmo should be hurt reasonably bad UNLESS they just lose De Rosario and Clark which might actually happen with Ching (anybody else) going to Copa America.

    Anyway, that's my analysis.

Everything thus far points to the "A" team being used for the Gold Cup (more Europeans) and the "B" team for Copa America (more MLS players). I also doubt you'll see any player play in both (unless the US gets bounced early in the Gold Cup which would be shocking).

It's a shoe in that DeRo is gone for Gold Cup. Ching and Clark probably will be gone for one or the other but not both. Davis, Mullan, Barrett, and ERob have all been called in somewhat recently to national team camps as well. In any case, even if all of those players are called up at one time or another, I highly doubt that more than 2 or 3 players will be gone at any given time. Bradley will work and has to work with Dom as far as releasing/requesting players.

The biggest thing I'm worried about is potentially losing both Moreno and Ching for Copa America because you know Moreno will be called up for Venezuela. Neither Dalglish or Wondo can fill that target striker role that our offense seems to love so much.
