Its fan loyalty night (Buy one get one free deal) so should be a good crowd. Anyone know what the weather is looking like?
right now, weather.com lists a 10% chance of precipitation on 5/3. i'm sure that number will go up as Thursday approaches.
weather.com says sunny high 71 low 51 http://www.weather.com/weather/tenday/20001?from=36hr_topnav_undeclared
No matter what weather.com says, if you consult your meteorology textbooks, you will find that Diablo's Theorem predicts that regardless of prevailing winds, cold/warm fronts, pressure, humidity, time of day, etc., the correct forecast for a day when D.C. United is playing at home in 2007 is 41 degrees and rain. Let's hope the team has the right *%&@$-ing cleats this time, just in case it really does rain.
Its a new month tomorrow gang. Time to get off the negativity express. Breathe in, breathe out. You can do this. Life's short, the flowers are blooming, and United will have its finest outing of the 2007 MLS season this Thursday. So let it be written...
The weather forecast for Thursday(that is TODAY's forecast for Thursday) is Sunny, H 71 L 51 from the weather channel. I think the forecast may also see us in a 4-4-2 or at least a 4 man back line. IF we can play in good weather conditions, I am hoping it will lift players spirits (and freakin performances too)
Only game that I've seen this year that we've won - is when it was SUNNY!!!! We're undefeated if it doesn't rain....
Ok, I was in Columbus on Saturday and when the weather was nice we played like crap and Ezra scored on us. In the end when it rained we looked just as bad. Maybe it can't rain for a complete 90 minutes for us to win. Or 48 hours before I dunno. Maybe we need a drought to win? I just want a big crowd on hand this Thursday and 3 points on the board. And no rain, I've been to every game this year and it has rained...
