I'm just seeing if anybody has the early figures for this game? I'm thinking since the Revs made the playoffs there might be a slight push in the tickets lately. If they make it to the semis I think think there will be a alot bigger push for tickets. Come on Revs.
P.S. Don't waste your time and my time saying why don't I call up if I want to know. The ticket office is closed right now so stuff it.

OK, maybe a more efficient way of doing this is to take the phone directory, start with "A" and phone up everyone listed and ask them if they are going, and how many tickets they bought. Then add up the numbers and if it's less than 68,000, we can fit them all in. If not, someone is going to be disappointed.

    Always glad to help!

    Cheers,

why is this question such a fascination of yours?

look, its going to be somewhere between 25-40k. simple. the revs may not even have a clue even if you asked them b/c they have to set aside large portions of the opp side for u.s. soccer, mls, other teams, blah..blah...

    just come...
just tell your friends to come...
just tell you enemies to come...
just don't worry about these things anymore.

My 2 season tickets plus the 32 others I bought today brings us to...46 and counting.

I'm coming back from Florida, so that'll be at least 47. Anyone think we'll hit 50? :)

Why don't you just call up if you want to know?

Starting a thread like this isn't intentially set up so I know how many tickets are sold. Its more for people to think more about the game and to get the word out. I want people to see the thread and be like oh thats right, I wonder out of my friends how many want to go. If we don't get a good showing at this game it could really hurt MLS and exp for us getting another championship game in the future.

I posted on another thread that the MLSNet link to MLS Cup tickets shows a map of the stadium with only one sideline and the ends of the field available. I tried Ticketmaster and it indicated the mezzanine and upper deck tickets weren't available. It seems that they're only selling tickets on one sideline, the ends, and corners. Someone posted a reply saying that season ticket holders have been offered seats on the empty side. I'm coming up from DC for the game and will be calling the Revs instead of Ticketbastard for my tickets. In the meantime, does anyone know for a fact that tickets will be limited to specific sections or whether the whole lower bowl is going to be open (or the upper deck)?

The whole lower bowl will be open and they will open up higher up seats if the demand is there for it.

What will attendance be like if the Revs advance to the final?

Well, we got 52 so far, including the 2 I bought, so if that ever happened, we'd certainly break 3 figures.

Well I'm in for eight - so that brings us to 60.

Crikey, I hope we can break 100 for this game or it's not going to look very good on television!

Well nobody really knows. New England fans are hard to guage on tickets demands. I would hope if the revs make it you would be looking at 50,000 strong. It will prob be more around 40,000 though. If they don't make it, expect around 30,000.

    I have 2 tix but can't go.

How does that figure in your equation.
