Any way to get draft results to my cell phone?

I get match scores emailed to my cell phone during the season courtesy of Yahoo. Is there any way that I can get similar reports text messaged to me on Friday? I planned to take the day off and sit in front of the computer to watch it live, but I will have to be at work after all.

I can't get the day off.

Even if I did have the day off, I don't have FSW on my TV.

I will be on the road or in a meeting from 10:00am on. I would love to be able to look down at my cell phone from time to time and see the latest on the draft.

Close, but no cigar...

The Matchnight services is only for web-enabled phones.

I am trying to get a text message or email sent to my phone like the Yahoo Alerts.

Someday maybe.

I would be willing to PM my cell's email address if someone is kind enough to send me a few emails during the draft.

If you reeeeeeely can't wait until you get home, I'll e-mail you with at least the first few rounds' results. (I'm not sure how long things plan to go, but I'll hang in as long as I can before my wife asks what I'm doing, learns that I don't even know the guy I'm doing it for, and instructs me to do something productive with my day.)

You must also promise to pay it forward to another soccer fan in need someday.

FWIW, I would like to see some webmaster type people make this sort of thing happen for next year's draft.

As a reminder we will be hosting a Draft Day Chat room from MLS SuperDraft. We will be using MatchNight Chat rooms and should be up around 9:30 ET (8:30 CT) http://chat.matchnight.com/ There are chat rooms for most teams and all fans are welcome. There is a limit of 300 people, so get there early.

We have a good seat this year and will be posting all kinds of news, draft info, pick bio stuff, and even stuff we observe from the tables as our set up right behind the teams.

it also sounds like mlsnet.com will have some streaming video of the event...now we all know how well their servers did last year but its worth a shot

This year shouldn't be as bad, because they will be better prepared, plus FSW is going to derive a large portion of the audience away from the net, at least for the first hour. Bigsoccer better get ready. I remember last year, it was hell. Bigsoccer was overloaded, Matchnight was impossible to get updates, I found myself in the Ussocceruk boards listening to updates from bergin. Even there it was getting busy. Its goin to be fun tomorrow!
