Thanks for the link district FC!

It seems like DC United can score this year.

But, what is up with yielding 3 goals to FAU!?!

There is no goalie listed in lineup. Looks like Namoff has 30. GAA.

Yea, Namoff in goal this time. 3 goals allowed. Better get Earnie back between the pipes!!! :D

I wonder who those couple veterans are?

19 different players saw action. The two new invitees did not play. The only invitees/trialists who did see action were John Harkes, Simon Toselli, and Joseph Devidze. As a Woodworth fan, I noticed he only played in one of the four scrimmages (against Lynn Univ.) despite Hudson intending to get everyone at least two games. Not sure if anything can be inferred from that.

I thought I read in another thread that Woodstock (among others) took a knock the other day. I, too, hope he was sitting out for recuperation and not because he's sliding down the depth chart.

I must have missed it, but where are Doug Warren and Behonick missing, thus forcing the field players to play goal?

Warren has a muscle strain (and I think Behonick does too, but I can't remember where I read that)

While I would rather Namoff be getting some time in midfield, someone had to play goal, and a young bubble player is a heck of a lot better person to put there than Stewart.

Esky scores again, but remember, these are still collegiate opponents, and not even top ones at that. But it sure is good to see the newcomers score, particularly in the air! I'd prefer to see Stewart scoring some though.

It sounds as though the team is starting to get comfortable with one another. Quick combinations are what you want during preseason. That's actually better than anything else at this stage. It sounds as though Dema and Esky are settling in well.

In these games, why don't we borrow the backup goalie from the college teams??

On the other hand, we are a scoring machine. 3,3,and now 5 goals. That's as many golas as we scored in the summer last year.

A wise man once said "read before you post, it's the right thing to do."

There's a thread on this already. But thanks for looking out for us.

Most importantly, if you count the U-20 Canadia game, we're 3 for 3 this year on spot kicks.
