Would love to know if he'll be ready for the next MLS game or the Confed. Cup... Kind of ironic to ask having just read this article http://www.soccer365.com/_365_Interviews/page_123_52512.shtml
I was wondering the same thing. I've scouted all the news services I could find, but didn't see any comment except for that it is a sprained knee, which should mean he'll be okay in a week or so. If it was worse, I gotta believe it would be written about somewhere. At least that's what I hope.
I've had sprained knees before and they were usually a one to two week thing. Most important, I think he'll be ready for the Confed Cup. However, your implication is right, I'm not a doctor.
Generally, once you sprain something, it becomes easier to sprain again, but the healing process is quicker. A week sounds quick, but depending on the severity of the sprain and Pope's past history, it's possible.
