Any SPL players past/present named Caton or Smith?

    Just curious. Those are my family names and they are from the British Isles.

    Gary Smith (Hibernian)
    Jamie Smith (Celtic.. reserves)
    Barry Smith (Dundee)
    Graeme Smith (Rangers youth/reserve)
    Steven Smith (Rangers youth/reserve)
    Graham Smith (Kilmarnock reserve)

    15 players called 'Smith' have been capped by Scotland, you can find out more details about them from the 'Archives' section of the SFA website at http://www.scottishfa.co.uk.

    Is Smith English or Scottish?

    In the 70s/80s Manchester City had a centre back called Tommy Caton.

    I remember him being fairly good, but not quite good enough to be capped by England (or maybe he was once or twice).

    People on the Man City board may be able to give you more info.
