my best guesses would be fado's and thistle, although fado's seems to be more toward the UK/GB side, and I don't know if thistle has DTV...

You'd also probably have to pay for fado's and in return, not receive sound, so that's out of the question.

That's right, no point going if you can hear the witty and cunning commentary of our play-callers. I think the play calling is better on my EA Sports video games than it is on ESPN sometimes.

Perhaps the NHL games that EA puts out ;) the NBA game commentary has always been weak, and I can sort of tolerate Madden.

Didn't SOMEONE come out with "Jack Edwards Bingo" where different cards were passed out with lots of his favorite phrases like "full international" and so on and so forth? [IMG]

The sad thing is, I would rather have Jack calling the game. I'm afraid they'll bring back Phil Schoen [IMG] ...

I'll kill for JP Dellacamera or Derek Rae, personally.

Fire wore red jerseys, KC in blue for MLS Cup 2000. Next year was the first year two teams could wear colored jerseys against each other.

    JP did MLS Cup 2002.

Perhaps MLS likes to use MLS Cup as a "test game"??

Back when there were two games on espn/espn2 on the same day, who announced? Jack/Ty did one, and who else??

It's also on FSW Canada, which some places get.

And in addition to DirecTV PPV at $19.95 it's also available from Setanta Sport, which means that most of the usual places CAN buy it if they want to.

I know I am going to get flamed simply for being a United fan who dares post here.. but as I live here most of my year... on this topic I feel that I can intrude...

It just infuriates me that there is no transit that can seriously get one from Campus to Easton and therefore Fado's... I have heard that they have done that intentionally to prevent students from going... Now I know what all you are going to say... they just don't want the riots... But I just want to watch the Canada game.. and since I don't have a car here and I have TW cable... It looks like I am out of luck... That no bar either downtown or in the short north shows games is unimaginably irritating for whatever serious soccer fans happen to go school here...

After looking at COTA's debacle of a website... I find out that I can in fact get to Easton Transit center tonight... but that after the game.. I CAN'T GET BACK!

    Just venting....

If any local folks know of ways to get places... or simply know any other bars that show the games I would greatly appreciate them replying or PMing me.

I know CREW fans have a pub they like to hang out at.

Seriously, what is so good about fado's anyway?

Hey guys, new to the boards..and new to soccer. I just started becoming a fan and have been watching the EPL on FSW but I see that there is a place called the Rose & Thistle in Columbus. I live in Columbus and would love to go, i called and they said games are on tomorrow. What time?? They had no clue...is this a great atmosphere to watch soccer? Thanks for the help.

Pretty tuff during basketball, but try BW3 especially the one on Bethel road, the manager there has been kicking the ball around up at All Stars.
