I was curious if there were any other Gooners out there from Western PA. I've just started venturing down to Piper's on the South Side to watch matches when I can and was wondering how many others there are.
Good Luck, honestly. I can't even find any out here in L.A. (unless they are hiding.) You may have to latch onto some general fans of the game.
Piper's is pretty cool. It's sort of a little hole in the wall place with a small bar area in front, but it's kind of charming in it's intimacy. The people are all very friendly and the other fans there are very cool. And yes, they do show the PPV EPL matches. For more info, you can check out www.piperspub.com.
hmm this is very good to know when i'm up in the monroeville area visiting my relatives and there's some match on i have to know about. once i was relegated to calling up the gf [at the time] and asking her to text message me back the score..
I too have relatives in Pittsburgh and a way on up in Mercer county. At least now, I know that I can go somewhere to watch the game! Thanks for the information.
