Anyone heard anything on what's happening with the Connecticut Wolves since NB-D-Day has passed and the city cut its ties with the team? Are they out of D3? Is it PDL for them?

Surely there must be some sort of future for pro soccer in CT.

    Mr. PanicFC?

    Anyone?

According to the latest the Wolves are not dead yet. They are looking towards private investors. I've heard different things through the rumor mill, but only rumors such as getting private investors and going to Dillon Stadium or staying in New Britain. Eddie Davidson's (GM) posts say that they continue to look at alternate ownership. The latest article (with some good news) is at http://www.ct-wolves.com/news/press.php?story=52

It's in Hartford across from Colt Park (right next to the Colt Building - Blue Dome). If you are driving down 91 south you can see it immediately following the Colt Building.

The GM is a active poster on USsoccerUK, you might want to check there for info.

To all the Wolves supporters in Connecticut, I'm sorry to hear about the end of the club. But I hope that either in New Haven or Hartford one of those cities will have the new Connecticut club for next year.

That's a bummer, Eddie. On behalf of football fans all over this country, thanks for your efforts. You are one of the best advocates of the beautiful game we have. Bigger and better things are coming your way, that's for sure!

Thanks for the support. I think Connecticut is going to be the new home of soccer in the US, and hopefully I'll get to move it that way.
