I saw him play at UCLA a few times, and I thought he was going to be a break-through for the Rapids when they drafted him. He disappeared on trial at an English 1st division club, and hasn't resurfaced. Does anyone have any insight into Gregorio's whereabouts?

I saw him a few weeks ago playing for an amatuer team at a tournament. He says he is going to be trying out with some Portuguese teams in the coming weeks.

fool. i mean...FOOL! should've gone with the rapids. maybe he can go and play in switzerland or iceland. those teams have a history with ex-mlsers. if wigan didn't want to pick-up the guy...well...

I really don't understand this. I saw him play at UCLA and he was one of the team's best dribblers/finesse/creative players in midfield. Fast and quick too. Maybe that doesn't translate well at the next level but as one of the stars of the team (i.e. attacking player who made things happen) how he has not caught on with a pro team is hard to fathom.

Can't fault the guy for turning down 24k and trying Europe, the upside is quite a difference. He can always return to COL in the next year. Gets to try life somewhere different. Would he be seeing significan minutes in MLS? Some rookies are starting, some don't even see the bench. COL does have a depth issue right now though.
