If you are a current season ticket holder, have you been contacted about renewing your season tickets? I haven't, but a coworker has been contacted about putting a deposit down for next season. He currently has only bought a 5 game pack, so I wasn't sure if the deposit was only for non-Season Ticket Holders. I tried to contact my ticket rep yesterday and have not heard back. I was just curious as to what other Season Ticket Holders were hearing.
I haven't heard anything yet, and was wondering the same thing after the announcements at the last home game.
Did someone contact you or did you contact them? Did you have an option to move your seats or did you keep your same seat? thanks for the info
I checked account last week and saw that I could renew then and had the options to break it in one full payment or spread it out anywhere between 2-7 payments. I didn't receive any notice that I was able to do this, I just checked on my own.
I am waiting to the last minute. Someone leaked to me, that they plan to give out one of the new kits and an additional seat to those who wait until the spring, just like the have in the past. No incentive right now to pay early.
I just looked. It's under: Ticket Orders > Orders to be paid. It should say "Houston Dynamo - Season Ticket 2013". I have two seats and both are shown under this one item
I talked to my rep a few weeks ago. She said prices would remain the same, if you renewed by November. If not, they would go up.
from Tiffani, my rep: As your service specialist, I wanted to check in and see how the season is going for you. Feel free to contact me directly for any of your customer service needs—additional tickets, exchanges, questions, etc. Below are some items that I’d like you to be aware of in order to maximize your season ticket holder experience: 1. Merchandise Discount—bring your inaugural season scarf to the Adidas Team Store or any other merchandise booth at BBVA Compass stadium and receive 15% off your total purchase! 2. Ticket Exchange Program--There have been some changes to the exchange policy this year—mainly the 72 hour deadline, so please review the information in your info booklet that arrived with your package in the event that you would need to do an exchange moving forward. 3. My Account—you have access to your tickets electronically through your My Account online. Tickets can be re-printed or forwarded from this portal. If you are unfamiliar with how My Account works, let me know and I can send you instructions. 4. Dynamo Direct Tickets—this is an online venue (accessed through your My Account or houstondynamo.com) in which season ticket holders can sell and purchase other tickets from season ticket holders. If someone purchases your tickets, an account credit can be applied toward season ticket renewal. 5. CONCACAF dates and opponents—your season ticket package includes 2 CONCACAF matches: 9/20 vs. FAS (ELS) BBVA Compass Stadium 7 p.m. 10/23 vs. Olimpia (HON) BBVA Compass Stadium 7 p.m. Renewal information will be coming soon. Be sure to renew by the Octoberdeadline in order to keep the same prices and secure your seat location! If you aren’t receiving our season ticket holder emails, please let me know! Forever Orange,
Renew your season tickets before October and you will be eligible for "Pay as we Play" playoff priority. After renewing your seats, you'll simply pay for your Dynamo playoff tickets as the Dynamo advance to each new round of the 2012 MLS Cup Playoffs. Renewed accounts can also purchase all playoff games up front at their season ticket holder discount, excluding MLS Cup.
OK . . so now, with the whole explanation it makes no sense. I can pay as I go now. I don't need to renew to do that.
Yea I saw this last night and was like wtf? First it seemed like free tickets than it seemed like, well I don't know, it made no sense.
From SBI: The Portland Timbers vowed this week to not raise ticket prices for next season. The Montreal Impact have taken things a step further by reducing their season-ticket prices. The Impact have cut season-ticket prices by an average of 15 percent, and existing season-ticket holders will be getting a 10 percent rebate for their 2012 seats, the club announced on Wednesday. "I am proud to confirm that there will be a price reduction and we will be rewarding the loyalty of our current season ticket holders," Impact president Joey Saputo said in a statement. "Even though we are currently having success on the field and in the stands, we will never take our ticket holders for granted." Love that last line . . .
It was kinda explained to me and what I got out of it is that if you renew you get you get the playoff tickets at the STH rate. So the way I was hearing it, if you don’t renew, then you will be a non-season ticket holder for the playoff games as we advance (you pay the normal price, may not be guaranteed your seats, etc.)
...so we're gonna do something nobody else in Houston does? Every other sports team in Houston says that season ticket holders get first dibs on playoff tickets. That's one of the ********ing perks!
