Blizzard and Polygong are good, they'll be around soon, Doyle G spends far more time wandering all over the forum offering little more than insults.
I've tried making this change several times, but there seems to be some kind of error every time I do. Will keep trying.
Got it done. I couldn't change the title so I started a new thread with the new title and then merged the two threads.
Thanks. Uhh can you change the name of the thread again and get rid of the (Saskatchewan Roughriders) part. Just kidding, well not really Just want it known that it isn't just for football and there is really no good reason why our NTs can't play there (aside from the artificial turf) which by 2016/2017 we don't know how good it will be. And the stadium may also be based on a soccer stadium (Arena Lviv)
Can somebody delete the (Saskatchewan Roughriders) part from the thread title. I think people may not check out the thread thinking this is exclusively for football when this probably will be the most soccer-like multi-use stadium in Canada.
I give credit where credit is due C'mon people, no reaction to that new Regina stadium? Clone of Man City and the most soccer-like of our next wave of new stadiums.
That is a question I have had is there plans for any soccer clubs in these new stadiums? Also how much more popular is the CFL then the MLS or soccer in general in Canada?
Not even close. the CFL rivals hockey in popularity in much of central Canada. Soccer is down in the "dumps" with basketball and baseball. Though much like elsewhere its on an upward trajectory. I have not heard about any sort of professional league in central Canada, but the CSA report of the future of Pro Soccer in Canada should be out in the next few days, it should show us what possibilities lie ahead. But on a procedural note, shouldn't this thread be closed? Lets move the relevant discussion over to https://www.bigsoccer.com/community/threads/new-stadium-for-regina.1974219/ where it belongs.
