the funny part is, Mexico did really good with this team. I cant believe Hugo cant do any better with our current team which has alot more talent.
(I hope I'm wrong)
You mean like when Hugo did better in his Gold Cup in the US... or in his Copa America... Fu<ken Hugo... you can't win the world cup in a year... your out
what are you talking about? that team won a gold cup and made it to the finals of copa america. The team we have now is more talented but seem to lack something, and that something is a coach who knows how to adjust to the opposing team. We cant play every team the same way or else the other teams will adjust to your weaknesses and beat you. Apparently hugo hasnt showed me that he can do this.
This is what I want for 2010 and beyond. This is futbol. ----------------------Ochoa---------------------- Esparza-------Rafa--------Magallon-----Salcido --------------------Araujo------------------------ -------------Correa--------Barrera-------------- -------Gio----------------------------Castillo----- ----------------------Vela------------------------- Using a 4-1-2-3 similar to Barça's. This, not a boring, unattractive 4-4-2 will bring us glory.
I'm talking about players that play professionally now. As for Andres, I picked two wingers that will cut inside and shoot, which Andres doesn't do for some reason.
"This is what I want for 2010 and beyond" I'm pretty sure that levya and john dos santos will be pros beyond 2010, won't they?
And what if, God forbid, they never turn out as good as we hope they do? It happens to thousands of talented youngsters all of the time.
very few mexican youngsters have had a chance to join the barca and real madrid academies, not thousands....
I meant talented youngsters in general. For 1 great player an academy produces, how many do you think fail to make it?
I could care less about foreign talented youngsters and how many of them fail to make it. I'm talking about two specific Mexican players Bryan Leyva at Real Madrid and Johnathan Dos Santos at Barcelona.
and correa and barrera are superstars? that's why you have them on your starting lineup for 2010 and beyond?
Correa is already a starter and the way Chucho used Barrera in the U-20 WC makes me believe that he would work in that formation. And I never ruled Leyva and Jonathan out. I just haven't seen them in action yet.
So you basically write things before thinking things thru. You should scout players before you make formattions for the future cause your obviously ignorant....
And you're sure they will be great? I made that formation with the talented players at our disposal now, most of which are young enough to play for El Tri well beyond 2010.
Correa will 31 by 2010 so I don't know what your talking about when you say he's going to be young by the next world cup.I know that they will be better than correa and barrera, and you can qoute me on that. "Jonathan Dos Santos and Bryan Leyva will be better than Jaime correa and Barrera"
i feel that with the type of players we have, we can benefit more with a 4-3-3 formation. a 4-1-2-1-2 would work as well. i personally don't mind using the 4-4-2 when we go up against big teams, but we really have to change it up when we go against smaller teams. the point of friendlies is to try out players and formations. Hugo has done a good job with the 1st in trying out players, but NOT with formations
