Um, I won't expect too much from you since you're a Spurs fan, but I must inform you that Denver is not in Arizona, so no, you're not here. Right part of the country though, generally speaking, so you're doing ok for a Spurs fan.
I'm in Tucson, also. I'm a Ph.D. student at U of A. I do get the impression, however, that you are at ASU, ZonaGunner, since you list Tempe as your location. No matter, though! My love of Arsenal transcends any preference for the Wildcats or the Sundevils. I'm from Phoenix originally.
You're 100% right about Denver not being in Arizona- that must have slipped my mind (it's a good thing too since it's way too damn hot for me down there). As long as you blokes realize that you're all glory huntin' front runners, I stand geographcially corrected.
Try these places Arizona Mesa R.T. You stand geographically corrected regardless of what us blokes realize or don't realize. Denver is not in Arizona, regardless. And one thing we certainly won't call you is a glory huntin' front runner! In fact I doubt we would even get the chance to call you that for quite a number of years.
Re: Try these places Exactly. Tucson has nothing as far as footie goes. I had to go to the Dubliner in North Phoenix to watch the Netherlands-Ireland WCQ a few years back. Losing in an Irish pub in an optic orange shirt wasn't fun.
Re: Try these places Do either of these places actually show live matches? I've always assumed with the early morning time of most English matches (from 5 to 8 a.m. or so) that these places wouldn't be open at that early hour.
Great News! I'm thrilled that the Arsenal Army is growing! Send in a point of contact and a few pubs to Rick at www.arsenalamerica.com We need outposts in every state and major city across the fruited plains. Welcome Arizona Gunners!
I've been a member of ArsenalAmerica for awhile and went on the trip to Highbury this last December. It is a nice site for Gunner fans.
