Hey all... I'm trying to make the collection of data for a quantitative study (for a class) a bit easier. Are there any 7th grade literature teachers on this board? If so, what novels (or other long pieces of literature) do you have your students read each year? Basically... I'm looking for longer works. I say novel, but novellas count... biographical works (like Night by Elie Wiesel work as well. I just don't know what to call those... but I'm talking about longer pieces of lit... not the materials in the lit anthologies. Any help you can give me is appreciated. Thanks. P.S. Other teachers... while I am interested in what you're teaching, the study focuses on 7th grade alone. If you are going to tell me what your students in other grades than 7th are reading, please indicate the grade level in the reply.... if I get any.
