HT. I didn't tune in till the goal was scored and FFC were up a man. AR with 1 or 2 key headers on D and 3 really good steals, 2 that resulted in perfect breaks down the left with crosses onto FFC feet in danger. A good half of a half that I saw. FFC giving up a decent amount of possession and playing the counter. Working so far, but FFC attack seems a bit lacking in the final ball.

 

I thought the same thing. "Side volley ranch roundhouse that one!!!"

 

The just replayed the goal - also off an AR cross, but the finish was quite difficult and acrobatic at the far post.

 

Jedi is just a menace. Fulham will be unlucky if they don't get a goal off of one of these runs.

What a whale of a game for Jedi so far. Absolutely fantastic.

 

Robinson is an absolute beast. Started the play and out hustled and out thought Liverpool to get the cross in.

 

And add a stoppage-time game-saving block in the box from Jedi. MotM for me, regardless of what happens.

 

Let the ‘world class’ conversations commence/ continue. He bossed ‘Pool and is now high up in the assists table in the prem and leading many defensive categories. Also now with captain responsibilities. Not much more you could ask for.

AR had a really well-timed, strong shoulder bump late in injury time to get free with the ball on touch again. Just a gritty, smart little bit of defending with an eye to getting behind the D. Not a play I would have expected him to make a couple of years ago. Really confident and strong.

 

ARob is the top US player

 

Top US player starts against Southampton. Jedi apparently one of the top performers on the day, but Fulham have only managed one SOG against last place opposition.

 

Jedi steal creates a break and his cross finds Iwobi - but a very good defender shot block ends the danger.

 

Jedi starts against Chelsea. Another clean sheet would be a big ask. Happy day of Boxing.

 

Oh well. I was about to type about how Jedi's run and pass out of a double team set up Fulham's first SOG of the match, but then Palmer beats a couple defenders who do not have the Force, dribbling from the circle without facing a good challenge and scoring. 1-0 Blue part of West London.

 

Iwobi seems to ignore Jedi quite a bit

 

Extended Fulham possession including a couple of dangerous attempted final passes by Jedi, but nothing comes of them.
