Mason Mount is absolute silk. Man I don’t want to go back and read my early commentary about him from the beginning of Pulisic’s Chelsea career. I was absolutely wrong about what he is — he’s some player.

that was a world class assist.

Jedi had a great shot early well saved by Mendy.

Robinson looks ok today but man for man James just is far superior

Earlier, I had serious doubts about him (i.e. Frank's "son"). Lately, he has grown quite a bit, especially his touch and awareness.

Have not been able to watch Antonee play enough.

Has that left overlap worked much at all when he's playing behind Lookman? That's the first time I saw him actually put in a cross from the move. Wasn't bad, but I see him being really dangerous with the Nats with that move.

12' and it's mostly been a snoozer. Robinson's crosses are still too damn low. Oh a decent cross to Lookman actually.

took 70 minutes but now it looks like the final minute of an nhl playoff game with the goalie pulled level of intensity.

watching jedi assess danger so far today has been absolutely perplexing. so many times jogging where a guy he could mark is clearly running into dangerous territory with no one covering him

Yes,Robinson's speed and his desire to get forward are great, but his reading of the play, and his desire to get back, are woeful.

Starts today. Pulling the pbp thread up - need @bungadiri to fix the thread title - should probably add Tim Ream, today's captain, who seems likely to play a lot.
