Really need Fulham to win this one now to advance the cause of VAR reform. If Fulham lose the bad call will soon be forgotten.
And there are no other examples of questionable VAR decisions for reformers to draw on? It's all down to this Friday match between mediocre to bad sides?
He also makes runs so ninja sneaky his teammates don't even see him. Also known as Firmino's Paradox. I know, I will just escort myself out now.
Loose ball sets up a Jedi shot from 22, on frame through traffic, but keeper saw it coming and it didn't have much power.
Adama Traore, the man who always looks like he's about to score and never scores, scores late in stoppage time with a great near post blast. Tough blow for Fulham, who really need wins and not more draws, but that's at least better than losses. However, huge step toward clinching safety early for Wolves.
VAR should never have been implemented. It's just pushed the controversy can from the referees decision on the field to a combination of the referees decisions on the field + VAR and the stoppages in soccer are distasteful. Human referees made errors for 150 years. I was fine with it. That's part of sport.
Or, if I was a true hopeless Romantic it would be Hoppe. Fulham playing ok. A bit of frantic defending, giving up too many corners, but they look decent. 82 in. Cheeks came on a bit ago.
I should pretty much know that Fulham will do just enough to stay technically in the hunt without ever really having any chance at all.... 89
Another corner... And there it is... 96 1-1 (Thats OS actually... tho...yikes - he's active for sure. Ref disagrees with me tho.)
Incredible bad luck - and cost of not being able to hold the ball at all. Fulham just defending for last 25 mins caught up with them Arse keeper gets a head to the corner, flicks it far post, get put back into the mix and falls to Arse player for the easy goal.
