Wouldn't this mean Peterlin would go from the Premiership -- to -- Championship -- to -- Division 1 --- to --- Division 2? (all 4 divisions) in 5 years....wow, that's hard to do even if you are trying! Certainly he is heading in the WRONG direction :)

Man, MLS really dropped the ball in not signing him when they had a chance.

Looks like they'll get another shot - Peterlin on trial with the Rapids.

    Interesting comments from Peterlin:
“It’s a different style of football than England,” Peterlin said of opting to trial with the Rapids. “England is a very direct style of football, and I feel like MLS is a little bit more technical. We’ll see if I can play in that type of system because I’ve done England for a while. It’s done me well, but it’s not my strongest [style], I’d say.”

HIK DEAL FOR EX-EVERTON MIDFIELDER ANTON PETERLIN
    Submitted by tribalfootball.com on Thu, 02/21/2013 -

Former Everton midfielder Anton Peterlin has agreed a deal with HIK in Denmark.

US midfielder Peterlin was brought to Europe by Everton and has had spells with Plymouth Argyle and Walsall.

"We have been fortunate to include Anton in the squad. He is an exciting type, a box-to-box midfielder. He has trained with us for 14 days and we really wanted him to play for HIK, and he said 'yes’,” head coach Hasse Kuhn told bold.dk.

Peterlin scored the game winning goal on May 25 and he had another goal on June 5. HIK is sitting in Division 2 East in seventh place. I believe they might only have 2 matches left.

B93 is, if I recall correctly (and I'm too lazy right now to look at my past records) a club with some YA history going back a decade if not longer. Maybe someone else recalls the details...

I actually think he belongs in the main forum, having played a number of games in the Championship for Plymouth Argyle.
