so is Rogan, and while occasionally, he provides entertainment value (specifically to MMA), he's also not someone who should be so darn popular.
So the shooter was apparently Middle Eastern and was doing this as retaliation for recent events as he lost family. https://themetrodetroitnews.com/dea...-lost-family-in-airstrike-in-the-middle-east/
? She's an American, and she lives here. You must live somewhere where one oppressed minority cannot miscegenate herself into a position of authority and fame and then use that to attack other oppressed minorities.
Yes, per the Detroit News. And several news sites. https://www.detroitnews.com/story/n...hooter-west-bloomfield-synagogue/89119612007/
I heard he had one myself. FWIW, Bibi's on the job, and this will be handled swiftly. Towelheads, take cover!
There's been a lot written about the rise of political violence in the US. If only those with power could do anything. Unfortunately it will get much worse
If he's interviewing someone about a subject he doesn't have a strong opinion on, he's usually really good. Get anyone from Jonathan Haidt talking about tech with teens to Courtney Dauwalter talking about ultramarathon running, and he's great at asking meaningful questions that draw out their best responses. If he's talking to one of his comedian friends, or some kind of conspiracy theorist, and he's insufferable.
He had some good shows with comics back in the day, but they can really drag. When he interviewed the author of this book, it was terrific. Great book, btw. From what I can tell, though, his health and fitness guests are increasingly conspiratorial in their orientation.
(Andy Roooney voice) Know what I cant stand? Podcasts. And Podcasters. Everyone has a podcast. Are people really that bored with their lives?
On the topic of where all this casual Gen Z anti-semitism is coming let's check in on their favourite bro-casters ... oh dear! (clip is from 2025 IIRC) Theo Von says that the left wing media is Jewish and anti-white on Rogan's podcast. This is from today. He has over 1bn video views on YouTube He seems to be claiming Israel has bloodlust and is bringing fascism to America Theo Von expresses his disdain for America's allied relationship with Israel, through labelling the Israeli regime satanic, and calling out their unquenchable bloodlust after what he witnessed in Gaza and beyond! pic.twitter.com/2A2HMdrfAR— The Muslim Mum (@TheMumMuslim) March 14, 2026
There's a lot going on in his conspiracy theorizing. And it's all very classically antisemitic in nature.
I had never heard of him so looked him up. I found his background to be rather interesting, illustrated by his full name: Theodor Capitani von Kumatowski III. His father was 67 when he was born. His grandfather was a Polish missionary who lived in the Mosquito Coast. He clearly had trouble with academics, given he attended 5 different colleges. At 45, going on 46 later this week, he has never been married. Lots of potential skeletons in that closet.
one of the problems of the fragmented media environment is most have no idea how bad the general discourse is. Like you guys i nearly knew about any of these people until the last election. recently i started to check what they’ve been saying. It’s insanity. one of the issues is that as most people consume little political or news content they end up getting their world view from these idiots.
What gets me is how people listen to any schmuck, not to people who are actually knowledgeable in the field. But then, those people are "elites" and therefore not to be listened to
During the DC match last night, Israeli Tai Baribo was the victim of some kind of abuse from the stands. I’ll bet a thousand internet dollars it was anti Semitic. Speaking for myself, it was just a matter of time. We all knew it was coming, didn’t we? Charlotte has two Israelis. Keep an eye on their road schedule.
You’ll love this Candace Owens and Tucker Carlson aren't just nuts, they're parroting the bizarro conspiracy theories of Aleksandr Dugin and Russian / Iranian state propaganda https://t.co/R4snq4noTF pic.twitter.com/3M1NBNhXDT— Claire Lehmann (@clairlemon) March 14, 2026
