Yeah......mainly from the fans of my old high school, Judson, who beat La Joya 43-14 down there in 5A high school playoffs. http://www.brownsvilleherald.com/sports_more.php?id=62424_0_9_0_C
I have attended various matches at the stadium below and have come to realize that I like roofs too! Name: Estadio Victoria Location: Aguascalientes Mexico Team: Necaxa Construction on the final phase is to begin soon; which will enclose the stadium completely with a roof.
i think he meant that they were going to cover the entire seating area. well, i hope that's what he meant... soccer should never be played in a dome.
on the topic of Zé Bill being slow on the uptake--------------------------- I always have to pause to think which stadium is called "The Tool Box" 'cause of the daunting "hard-hat" Columbus Crew vs. Home Depot "where you can buy a hammer" connotation-overlap.------------- So---keep in mind---if "village" applies to more than one team, my brain will be spinning while others are moving on to the next concept. That was filler. I really just wanted to float my pet idea of calling "I Can't Believe It's Not Madrid!" "I Can't Believe It's Not Madrid!". ---the imperial (margarine) crown inspires------so----- when referring to "I Can't Believe It's Not Madrid!", always say: "I Can't Believe It's Not Madrid!"
That's fantastic, Ze Bill. I can't believe it's not Madrid! LOL....good stuff. But I think we should just go with ICBINM, to avoid having to type the whole thing out.
ICBINM---ICK BINNUM. COOL! But punctuation always means, "We Love You!, ICBINM-fans"------------------------ -----So, when you're not in a hurry, typing "ICBINM!" would more imply "imitation spread". icbinm ----that's how it looks lower-case, or "icbinm!" is upper case any easier to type: "ICBINM!" ? yes, I have no life, but you knew that.
You must remember this. OUtdoor venues are mostly owned by clear channel. These venues will not be. These venues are also bigger then most of the clear channel venues. This will attract lots of bigger bands to these places. It is only a good idea for the long run and hopefully will be another nail in the coffin of clear channels and bushes control over the music industry.
bushes control over the music industy? what the hell are you talking about? sorry if that's a bit off topic...
I think he might be taking a swipe at my president because of the thougher FCC regulations following the super bowl half time incident. This has become a rallying cry for every Howard Stern and Howard Stern wanna be within arms length of a microphone. If not, I digress.
I thought it was a commentary on the Bush administration's hard-on for the further loosening of media ownership limits, which were loosened during the Clinton administration, and the loosening of which has had the effect of consolidating more and more radio and TV stations into the control of Clear Channel and their ilk, and leaving fewer and fewer radio and TV stations under local ownership. Which sucks, BTW.
But KFCD rocks. It must be nice to have an owner committed enough to get all the games on local radio and get the radio station to change its call letters.
