    He's not going to get a chance unless, Amoebi completely breaks down. Roeder is itching to play Rossi after his brief performance against Everton. He's 5th on the pecking order behind Sibereski.

    Honestly, I'd say give him a run of games regardless of how poor he is and let's put this one to bed once and for all.

    I agree about playing Luque. Might as well utilize Rossi as well.

    I just can't understand why we don't give him 5 matches to do his thing. What the ******** could we possibly have to lose. ********ing roder, I thought nobody could be as inept as Souness. He might even be worse.

    No shit. True Faith with a great article about Roeder's unwillingness to play Lugue.

    LUQUE: PLAY ME OR I WILL QUIT TOON

    Luque, 28, played in his favourite left-wing role in Thuersday's win over Celta Vigo, and hopes to retain his place against Portsmouth, especially with Damien Duff having a knee operation.

    Thx,

    Jay!

    I am trying to figure out why GR wont play Luque:

    1. Massive personality differences;
    2. Luque wants to be a left winger, not a central striker;
    3. GR is doing his babying thing that he claims to have done with Defoe and said he would do to Zog;
    4. Luque is lazy in practice;
    5. Luque isnt a good match with Oba and/or GR doesnt think he will be good with Owen (which brings up a good question, how will we play our strikers when Owen is back);
    6. GR hates Spaniards;
    7. GR doesnt have a clue what he is doing.

    Any thoughts?

    Lord knows they could use him, especially considering Nihat is out for the season.

    First impressions are lasting impressions.

    Based on what he showed last year, there can be no conceivable way Luque ever succeeds with Newcastle.

    Plus, there was that whole "walking out" thing last year that was claimed in the press to be a "bereavement-type" of leave, but I just think he walked out on the club.

    Thx,

    Jay!

    Now that he has pulled a Solano, maybe there is hope for him?

    He could be ours in January.

    Granted Roig (Villarreal's owner) steps up to the plate with his checkbook. he recently sold his business and there is rumour he is setting up for major purchases one of which is your Luque.

    Newcastle winger Albert Luque's bid to join Villarreal has failed because of his wage demands. (The Sun)

    What? He wanted to get paid? He should be offering up his talents for free, to whatever club will start him. One of those play-for-pay deals to prove he still knows where the back of the net is.

    Insomnia.

    Thx,

    Jay!

    I think his fate is sealed with the Toon. Before we buy any more foreign players a commitment has to made to give them a year to acclimate to the Prem otherwise it's wasted money.

    He has taken a lesson from Spanish Politics.....:)

    Just run away from the system if some are struggling....don't try to fix it.
