Did anyone notice that during the Galaxy/United game they were showing advertisements of DC United vs El Salvador? I saw the advertisement but cant remember the date or time. Does anyone remember the specifics?
I am not sure it is necessarily a good thing, not at this point in the season. Also, would a match between DCU and El Salvador really be friendly?
I saw it. It had to be a graphical error, the date was all messed up. It listed a saturday game on a date that was a tuesday and United did play El Salvador last season. Sorry to see people get their hopes up.
Not a chance. RFK would be a crazy scene. If this is an error, fire the person who put it on the board!
I hope it was a mistake. We dont need anymore distractions from the season than we already have with the US Open Cup. Im all for the US Open Cup.. always have been, but btween that, and the regular season.. and the stretch drive coming.. and the uncertainties we now face.... Please.. no more friendlies right now.
Been there, done that, beat them silly last year. El Salvador is playing Guatemala at RFK August 6th, at least according to the USSF site, since I haven't seen any local announcement of it.
