I'm a striker and i would like to know what boots to get. i haven't heard of much about the predators (not many people like them?) or the vapors.
I own a pair of each boot you mentioned 9 the vapors and the Manias). I perfer my vapors due to the fact the manias just dont feel right to me when I am playing but both are high quality boots. With the vapors though you will either love or hate the boot, they feel kind of funny at first due to the placement of the blades on the bottom but after a few minutes in them you will either get use to it and like tehm or decide the boot isnt for you. Personally...as a midfielder, there is no way I could cover the distance that I do in a match in the Vapor. I wear the Mania's and they are the perfect fit for me...I love how they feel. But in the end...it's what feels right to you. Don't take our advice and buy a boot...figure it out for yourself.
My Maninas crush my toes up a bit but only when i am playing for a while in them, I did take them to get streched out in the toe box though. I hope that will make a diffrence in the way i feel about the shoes because its a shame to waste $200 on boots that you cant play in
that would suck. just proves most expensive isnt necesarily best. try on the boots you want before you go and buy them and play in them.
Wow I am quite impressed with the fact you made no rude comments to me about my boots. I did try them on when I bought them and they were fine, it was only after about 45-60 mins they start to get really uncomfortable, its weird because most boots start to strech out a bit by then but my Manias only seem to get tighter.
the mania's are kinda narrow, so that might be why. but then again, you love the vapor's...and they are quite narrow. i guess different things work for different people. either way...its what feels good on your feet that matters most.

just try not to sound too showy about your boots and ill try my best to not to make any comments. btw, how do you like the vamps on the manias? i had a pair of predator precisions, and i felt like they took away from my touch.
I really think the Manias vamp is a bit thinner tahn the Percisions but I dont own the Percisions I have only tried them on so I couldnt say for sure if the vamp being as i have never played in them. If I were you I would just stick w/the Super nova it seems like a nicer boot to me all the way around, I tried on a pair this weekend at a soccer store and they hada better fit than the manias i felt you may want to check out my thread i am posting about teh new supernova's and the new maninas as weel if you are intrested those boots
Yeah, the Mania's are much thinner than the precisions. the leather is much softer as well....making the boots feel much lighter than the precisions. i loved my precisions, but now that i have worn the mania's...the precisions feel like i have bricks on my feet.
