that 3 logo is what high school kids draw on their notebooks when they're bored.

    1. It sounds like the 3 deal is worth 40m/season through the '22-'23 season.
    2. Chelsea wanted 3 to cover Stamford Bridge in 5G within the first season. Apparently coverage there was very poor.
    3. 3 has a popular app downloaded by millions? Anyone in the UK know what that is? Or is it just the app people use to pay bills, etc?

It just screams generic 90s EXTREME.

I knew I recognized it from somewhere!

This is exactly correct and strikes a chord with me as a sweet-spot 90's kid.

I miss the original X-games through

Personally I prefer the logo to vast tracts of text. But the shirt in hideous. I have never owned a football shirt although I have a few rugby ones

I own a couple football shirts, but the only ones I plan on buying now are Detroit City FC shirts, which I have an ownership share of.

I was a 3 customer until about 6 months ago. I can't think of any app other than what you'd expect all the major mobile phone companies to have - a general account maintenance type one, there was one based around wifi calling that's redundant now, and a rewards/offers type thing.

The shirt is not great but I've started to just trust the kit makers a bit - both the current and previous shirts looked awful in isolation but pretty great on the pitch.

I dont hate the away kit which should look fine on tv but that 3rd kit is ho-ho-horrendous.

The yellow one reminds me of the one from 1980 (or thereabouts) only with horizontal rather than vertical stripes.

There is a fine tradition of yellow away kits at the club, I am all for it.

I would also welcome something with a bit of red in it, but the younger fans would likely lose their minds.

Always liked the 3rd kit from 1974. White top with the red and green stripe down the front. 333-189.jpg

The yellow isn't bad. I've enjoyed it in the past. The home kit is irredeemable though :(

I've been hoping to see a kit with some red in it the last few years. Closest we got was that Crystal Palace imitation.

I think the qualifier has to be that we want a good kit with some red in it. Based on the designs we've seen from Nike I'm not holding my breath.

Overall though any kit we win the league in is by my own random definition a good kit :D

I'll take a good kit in any colour over a bad one :D

I suppose things could have been worse. I've just seen the new US away kit. Not posting here as NSFW.

It’s straight trash… Nike said they were inspired by a flag moving in the air… bullshit… only thing their inspired by is making money on new kits each year.

To make money, that means people have to buy the thing right? I was wondering who are these people that are dropping a hefty sum of money on these abominations and I reminded myself of a core rule of humanity.

Think about how simple the average person is and realise half of people walking this earth are dumber than that.

I suspect this is where you'll find most major brands making their money.

It looks awful in still photos but so many kits have surprised me in the last few years by looking much better in person, and then thoroughly decent on the pitch. The colours are at least reasonable unlike the United zebra kit.

This is apparently City's 3rd kit for 21/22.

What the ********? Puma going wild.

I freaking love that. Club name is prominent, rather than just a tiny crest tucked away in a corner. Super cool.

Puma doing all the best stuff in kits right now. Anyone seen Italy's third kit, the green one? Yes please

I really hate it. Perhaps a European/N. American difference? And their Euros away kits I also don't like.

BUT I do LOVE that they're trying to do something different.

I did have that thought while posting about how much I like them.

Even as a 20+ year follower of the European game, the idea that a sponsor's logo is so much more prominent on a shirt than anything to do with the team itself still rubs me the wrong way
