Now that Ange has confirmed the worst kept secret of the last month or so, where do we go from here? Any thoughts on potential new coaches?

There are other good coaches out there- lets just hope that they can get the next Guus, rather then the next Holger........

Not sure if they are just going to go for a World Cup Coach or a long term coach. They may have an easier job finding a top level coach if its just for the World Cup. Maybe someone will be keen to do a 12 month contract covering the World and Asian Cups.

IMO Ange is slightly above average coach and Australia needs bigger coach. I think Australia should go with a big name foreign coach. Bert van Marwijk is available. What do you guys think?

They can afford the big name coach for a year, or go for the lessor known coach for the long term, like they did with Ange. I'm not fussed either way, as long as we do well in the World Cup.

    Popavic now?

Don't think Arnold joining would be good - for either the Socceroos or Sydney FC

If he was available, I would've recommended Claudio Ranieri.
