Andres Cantor is narrating games on spanish radio, but you need a healthy heart to listen to him on the radio. He puts so much emotion in the game that he can give you a heart attack with his play by play screams. And with our USMNT playing the way they are with these close games, its pretty tough. anyways here is a little taste of him but in spanish.

    Here goes:

"Raifi misses it, now on the counterattack Donovan, the ball is ahead of Donovan, Altidore wants it on the right, inside the box it comes, and Dempsey, the keeper stops it, DONOVAN GOAL, GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL, GOOOOOOOooooOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL, GOOOOOOOOOoooOOOOOOOOooooOOOOOOooooOOOoooOOOL UNITED STATES, Scored by Landon Donovan, Landon Donovan grabs the rebound of a play that he started, on a counterattack after the US team had saved themselves from defeat, Landon Donovan, The best player in the history of the United States, scores the goal that clinches passage to the second round of the World Cup"

Ok here is my best shot at translating this:

Rafik has lost an opportunity, and now Donovan on the Counter Attack, ball goes too long for Donovan, Altidore wants it to the right, here comes that pass, Dempsey crashes with the goalie. Donovan!!! Goall!!!!!!
    Goooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooaaaallllll!!!!!!!!!!
    Gooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooaaalllllll!!!!!!!!!!
    Gooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooaaalllllll!!!!!!!!!

United States !!!!! Landon Donovan created it!!! Landon Donovan hit the bounce ball!! From a counter attack play he himself started, after the United States was almost beaten!!! Landon Donovan!! The best soccer player in the history of the United States has just converted the injury time goal that gives them qualification to the knock out round of the World Cup!!

It's funny. I don't even speak Spanish but Andres Cantor is my favorite announcer ever. That part right before he says "Donovan goal!" for the first time is just so awesome. So much excitement...he sound like he just witnessed the birth of Jesus Christ. Well, he just witnessed the birth of Mandon Donovan.

I love him to death.....To listen to him doing a game in Spanish is a religious experience, it's just not the same listening to the game in English it's like watching TV in black and white...

My other favorite guy his name escapes me at the moment does the majority of the Argentine league and Copa liber... on Fox sports espanol...

they did back in 2002 and it wasn't the same...This years announcers outside of Harkes and Lalas have been great. Ian is great a first class announcer.

"gooooooooooooooal Landon Donovan"=This generation's "the giants win the pennant! the giants win the pennant" No one will ever forget where they were.
I unfortunately had only the radio version. JP and Tommy aren't quite the same, but I still yelped at my desk:eek:
