Dani Alves is becoming one of my favorite players to watch...so I will watch him.

have seen sevilla games he usually comes on and let ALVES move into thye midfield. HINKEL is very bad though, he plays bad than FRITZ and Arne FRIEDRICH

I was at college in Glasgow today and decided to check out the fan areas,i preferred the Espanyol fans, there was less of them but they were livelier and sang more than the sevilla fans so i hope espanyol win. Both sets of fans made a really good atmosphere in Glasgow today though

The Seville coach is an idiot.

He should play Alves in midfield and let Hinkel play defense. Espanyol scored because Alves got caught off guard and can't defend for shit.

Another former Bundesliga player, Poulsen, is having a good game though.

Really? He's an "idiot"? Then how did they ever get where they were by leaving the great Andreas Hinkel on the bench or in the stands most of the season??

Yeah. What an idiot! How did he ever get that far playing that scub Alves in front of a great player like Hinkel??

He must be f#cking stupid! How can such an idiot be in this match and in the running for the Spanish Cup and La Liga title too??

Dude, you're taking the German pride a little bit too far. Hinkel has spent most of this season with his ass planted firmly to a players bench or a stadium seat for a reason.

The others are better than he is! Fullstop!

I don't think that Sevilla coach got them to where they are by being an "idiot" either.......

Just saying Alves is not a good defender and doesn't really spend time defending. I mean, they conceded the goal that way and have had that weakness all season long, their strength is in attacking though and I guess as long as they outscore their opponents it doesn't matter.

And I just said he's an idiot cause I despise the team.....come on man, let me trashtalk and vent here...

I'd rather have a Dani Alves RB, Jesus Navas/Renato at RM than Hinkel. Was he even on the bench today? Besides, I think there emphasis particularly on attacking wing play would mean that Hinkel would be more of a liability than a defensive upgrade.

    And Kerzhakov is horrible...

No. Hinkel wasn't even on the roster. I think that says it all.

I hope they loan him back here next season. I still think he would kick ass in the BL, but he's just not ready for La Liga. In that league, he sucks.

    Agree totally......

Well, Bremen has very good defenders and they conceded five over two matches to Espanyol. I think Sevilla did something right.

You might know that, but it looked to me that you called him an idiot because he didn't play Hinkel. Sorry, but that ticked me off a bit.

Didn't mean to suggest you can't trash-talk, but that's not what it looked like.

Well, Espanyol certainly earned my respect. They didn't destroy anyone's game to try to win. They went out and out-worked their opponents. I totally respect that.

Only if you're rooting for AC Milan! LOL!! :D

Yea I'm surprised Seville couldn't beat them in regular time since they had the one man advantage and so many chances. Espanyol certainly would have deserved it had they won the PK shoot out.

    FORZA LIVERPOOL!
