What a shift Don Andres put in. Attacked. Defended. Tied for most distance covered. Two assists of pinpoint accuracy. And as was mentioned earlier, he had a beautiful header saved by the keeper, a contortionist backward shot a la Cheech versus Stoke in 2010. Definitely Betis's best player today.

Are we really gonna pretend like Guardado wasn't shit during his time with Valencia and Bayern Leverkusen, I remember those years everyone wanted him out of the MNT. Que poca memoria tienen.
I watched the whole game Guardado mostly played as a RCM, but didn't shy away from alternating places with the other LCM. Principito had an amazing game no joke.
How was he on defensive duties? I'm wondering if he can play a little more defensively which will allow Jona more freedom for playmaking.
It's the opposite really. Javi Garcia betis CDM had a great game which allowed Guardado more freedom to play an attacking role.
principito has gotten so much better and versatile. He was a one trick pony (in some ways) when he first got to Spain. Very complete player.
