Interesting how many European scouts are working now in Colombia for the next big thing

It's a no brainer really. However, I'm sure there are plenty of horrible scouts out there looking to fill their own pockets vs looking at what's in the best interest of the players. Wonder how many Euro based team development academies are in Colombia? I thought Bogota had a couple?

    Udinese in Barranquilla

    Porto in Bogota

Barca and Real as well ... I'm sure there are a couple more

Thats actually good news that more Euro teams get interested in our young players, at least as long as our youth systems are not at the same level as Argentina for example

just to make a small comparison Argentina has 5 profi leagues and the youth teams from Sub 12 to Sub 19 have trainings and games under very similar conditions to the profi leagues so that they dont feel too much the diference when they are older.

So, if more Euro teams open their schools in Colombia and send some players to the countries I'm ok with it!

Aren’t most our good players form Barranquilla or Medillen? Kind of weird that not more schools there

Also this kid is 18 and isn’t in Junior or Real Cartagenas team.......

Junior seriously must have the worst fking scouts of all time. Muriel, Fredy Montero and the kid that died with a lighting bolt. Also wasn’t Juan Pino from Barranquilla? He was a douche but still should have been at Junior not DIM

18 Months in Spain will do him good. Too bad it's a low tier league that he'll be in. Let's hope that he takes advantage of that level to sharpen his skills.

Kinda funny how much of a surplus of promising defenders we're starting to get.

A good thing is that he has no much pressure in such a league so he can take his time to develop.

It's a problem of scouting and money, obviously. DIM, Cali, Envigado, Estudiantil have a lot of scouts all over Chocó, Urabá, Bajo Cauca, the Atlantic Coast, specificallly Atlántico, Córdoba and Bolívar, where most of the talent is concentrated. They watch u13 and u15 tournaments and find the best prospects. Junior also does this, but honestly, the owners are very narrow minded and don't invest as much as these teams in the infrastructure to have the kids comfortable and Happy so they often decide to leave to the other ones. Junior has improved a lot to be honest, in the Next seasons I see at least 4 or 5 talented youngsters breaking into the first team.

Va bien este man.

The divison he is in and the Rayo guys. Isn’t it 3rd divison?

These guys need to go to 2nd divison at least before we start getting too excited

Fingers crossed Gent can get past Bordeaux and into the Europa league where Arroyo can get some good competition. Really have high hopes for him, think he can be a great fullback
