I like Unai and hope Villa continue to do well. Not at our expense of course, but it’s good to have 5-6 teams capable of challenging City game to game.
And Arsenal. We want them to drop points too.
That guy was white-fire HOT last night....
Well, Unai has a point to prove v Arsenal, I think...
Unai is a mastermind as a manager.
The guy has punched above his weight and won everywhere he's managed - except Arsenal.
He's basically Rafa with people skills.
Not suited to the absolute highest levels of club football and the egos, but perfect for clubs just under that tier who want to make some noise - Sevilla, Villa, Villareal.
That was kinda funny......
“Trippier has been Everton’s best player on the night”
the comm on the Eve - New game as Trippier gives the ball away again, resulting in Eve’s going up 2-0
Make that 3-0 somewhere in the 90 minutes of added on time.
maybe 10 minutes. .
Evert*n 3 - 0 Toon. Wow. Eddie Howe-Did-That-Happen has some issues on his hands.
Spurs 1-2 WHam FT
the world has gone crazy!
again - this was the best year ever for Everton get a points deduction.
So very Spursy.
They have dropped points in 5 straight games - 1 pt out of 15pts!!
some pretty good results this week
and started off leading in all those games, I think?
we've hit Peak Spursy
CP, Brentford, Everton
Three potential banana skins ........
There is no such thing!
just looked - their Brentford game (23rd) is postponed coz MC are at the Club World Cup thing on Dec 19th. then a second game if they win on 19th.
after that their next PL game is at Woodison on 27th.
9 games this month.
we have 8.
place will be empty soon ....
Manchester United are willing to listen to offers for 31-year-old Brazil midfielder Casemiro, 30-year-old French defender Raphael Varane, and England winger Jadon Sancho, 23, as manager Erik ten Hag attempts to trim down his squad.
why would you talk about this? looking for fan sympathy/patience/respect?
Erik ten Hag said friends tried to talk him out of taking over as Manchester United manager because they thought he faced an "impossible job".
The Dutchman left Ajax to take over at Old Trafford in 2022 and has been under pressure in his second season.
Ten Hag told fanzine United We Stand he was warned how tough life would be. "Everyone was telling me 'You can't succeed in that job'. They said it was impossible. Me? I wanted the challenge," the 53-year-old said.
Well it depends on what the challenge was, doesn't it?
I presume the challenge was to make the team worse for which he has wholeheartedly embraced and done a wonderful job.
Talk about ego...
