Joining them is Bayer, who knocked United out last season in the semifinals.

Last team is the Israeli club Maccabi Haifa. The trip to Greece should be tough, but Bayer and United should go through rather easily.

This could have been much worse -- sure the away tie in Greece is never easy, but United has handled Greek competition recently and should do it again.

I think Bayer will drop off their form from last year.

I'm actually just a little worried about the Israelis, who have proven to be a thorn in the side of bigger nations both this year and with Hapoel Tel Aviv's run through the Euro Vase last year.

I think we have one of the most favorable draws in a while.

I think you guys have gotten a very favorable draw. Out of the English teams I'd rate this the easiest, followed by Liverpool, Arsenal, and Newcastle. I expect the first three to go through, Newcastle out.

I've no complaints at that draw at all. If Utd don't get through that group they don't deserve to. Look forwards to them getting their own back on Bayer who've lost some important players :)

Good draw. Unless SAF decides to go with a 4-5-1 again in Europe.

I believe Ferguson's gone with the 4-5-1 in every United game this year, domestic and European.
