I am a self-admitted sports nerd, but that stuff is just great reading.

I think the answer to the quiz is supposed to be Jaime Moreno, but it's not. Moreno had points on eight consecutive United goals in three games between 8/25 and 9/4, but he also had an goal in one of the 9/4 game against Dallas

And all but one of the assists were primary assists.

Undoubtedly. I was shocked he already had answers to Bradley's question re: secondary assists. Whomever built their database was very painstaking.

    He built it.

I think this just goes without saying for most of us.

Yeah, but there aren't that many goals or statistics in general to be kept for soccer. I'm sure that the baseball database is much more of a pain.

What about the Bills. They're 0-4. Or did they win a championship back in the 40's or 50's?

Also, I thought the Cowboys would be 0-3. Lost the Ice Bowl (technically a league championship since it was before the merger, even though the winner (Green Bay) went on to play in Super Bowl I)and Super Bowl V before winning super bowl VI. I'm pretty sure there was another NFL championship game loss in there as well, since they had a reputation as not being able to win the big one.

    In the 1960's.

    From the article:

"The Buffalo Bills don't appear because they won back-to-back AFL titles, pre-Super Bowl (1964-1965)."
